Interpretation services

Interpreting services are being requested more and more often lately. To ensure better understanding and communication interpreting services are very important in the organization of international events, conferences, seminars and business negotiations.

By cooperation with experienced and knowledgeable interpreters, Lingvik  LLC specializes also in the following interpretation services:

  • Simultaneous interpreting,
  • Consecutive interpreting.

Simultaneous interpreting means that the interpreter is listening to the speaker and simultaneously interpreting what is being said from the source language into the target language. The interpreter's vocal translation is broadcasted to the listeners’ headset. Several interpreters can execute their job simultaneously, interpreting the speaker’s speech in different languages. Most often, simultaneous interpreting is used when organizing large conferences. In this case, several interpreters, as well as a special equipment are needed.

Consecutive interpreting means thatthe interpreter pronounces the translation after the speaker has said something. Most often consecutive interpretation is used in meetings, conferences, business meetings, and at press conferences.

Simultaneous interpreting in comparison with consecutive interpreting is technically more complicated, but it takes less time, because the translation is done simultaneously with the speaker's speech. However, the advantage of the consecutive interpreting lies in the fact that it can be done anyplace, and it requires no special technical equipment.

We offer our customers the possibility to rent professional sound and simultaneous translation equipment.

The assembly and dismantling of the technical equipment on the event site will be carried out by the personnel appointed by the agency.
